The Zoom Salty Super Fluke plastic baits. These fluke plastic baits are realistic and soft to the touch. These baits feature a deep belly allowing for darting, gliding, and knuckleball action through the water. Rigged weightless, these baits can skitter across the water surface similar to an injured shad. If belly weighted hook or some insert weights are added this allows the angler to fish it as deep as necessary.

  • Baitfish imitator
  • Deep belly
  • Salt-impregnated

Great for Speckled Trout
August 30, 2022
I have found the Baitfish version to be especially effective in salt water for Speckled Trout. It is my go-to artificial when looking to fill stringers.
Pros
  • Matches some of the baitfish that trout feed on.
Cons
  • none

A Classic
August 1, 2022
This plastic has been a top seller for years everywhere for a reason. I like to fish it on a Texas rig with a pegged 1/8 oz. bullet weight. Its slim profile allows it to get deep into cover and slip through vegetation with ease. Tex-spose the hook and jerk it through grass or laydowns. A lot of anglers may not know this, but this plastic is also the best bladed jig trailer there is. When rigged on something like a Chatterbait or a Thunder Cricket the fluked tail will flick, wiggle, and get you a lot of bites. An American-made product at $4 a pack? This is a no-brainer!

Fishing my local reservoir generated a nice 4 lb bass. This thing twitches like crazy. Bass can't help it!

Cotton Candy???
July 13, 2022
If you are looking for Zoom Cotton Candy they have apparently changed colors, this is more of a dark plum color than every package of Cotton Candy I've ever seen before. Actually have an RMA to return them.

Amazing Bait

Love the flukes. They are cheap and very effective way to catch some nice bass. Had to try the lemon shad color for my river since chartreuse is a top producer. I think these actually do better with the added pearl color. Love the action. Can’t beat the flukes from Zoom!!

They love this color.

In our lake the fish are feeding on shad right now. They like this color better than pearl or albino (which I've fished a lot).

Its good

The fluke works well in saltwater. You have to work at moving it though to attract the fish. Its more a sight type bait and it works well inshore with trevally species. Have not tried it offshore yet. The retrieve I found most successful is the medium to medium/fast.

Great for Speckled Trout
February 5, 2022
These are great baits for imitating small finfish or shrimp when targeting multiple inshore species. They are especially capable rigged under a popping cork on a 1/8 oz jig head.
