Works well Texas rigged with light weight working through weeds/pads or top of grass. Also works well with weighted hook fished 3-5 feet along windy shorelines and riprap. Also works well on swimjig hook in deeper water with yo-yo or slow bottom bouncing retrieves and also fast retrieve or even troll on larger underspin swimjig (pike and muskie). Smoky Shad is universal color along with green pumpkin. Brighter colors like Summer Craw work well in weedy or heavy cover areas. White works well on schooling fish or where baitfish are present at any depth. Good for bass and also pike and muskie. Use smaller size for less active fish.
