I have only used the 2.5 inch for freshwater bass. And I can tell that the material is not the same as before. 3 stars for that. It is a fish catcher though. The older material holds up great while the new material is less durable.

'Nuf said ! Yes, it's a little pricey, but if it works, the price is a mute point when you are putting fish in the boat.
BTW, these hold up well overall to being bit. However, big toothy critters will cut 'em up. Action is great !

My favorite swim bait. Excellent for deep cover with a 1/4 oz jig head with spinner, or rigged weightless with a 5/0 wide gap hook for shallow cover.
A little harder to rig then some because it's so tough, but very resilient. You can catch multiple fish before it tears up.
