These rods are great for inshore and offshore trolling. Never had any issues with them. They are very strong whit stands the stress from trolling heavy lures. Great rod all around.

Exactly what i needed for my Penn VSW50 as a standup rod for fighting Yellow fin tuna and swordfish off the Jersey coast. Good flex at the tip but not too soft.
