These rods are great for inshore and offshore trolling. Never had any issues with them. They are very strong whit stands the stress from trolling heavy lures. Great rod all around.

Exactly what i needed for my Penn VSW50 as a standup rod for fighting Yellow fin tuna and swordfish off the Jersey coast. Good flex at the tip but not too soft.

Hi Jim, Unfortunately the Penn VS2040RS60 International V RS/RF Stand-up Rod has been discontinued and we will not be receiving anymore in at this time. I would recommend to check Craigslist and Ebay for possible places to find this rod for sale. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.

If you can still find a 30-80 or 50-100 model they would make for a great wahoo rod. These have not been in production for some time now, link below to their replacements which are built in the USA now:
