Texas Gulf Coast (offshore) - hunting Red Snapper, Amberjacks, Mackerel, King Mackerel -  party boat over wrecks and near rigs.  Also might make it up to British Columbia / Alaska July/August for Halibut at 200ft depth.  So all saltwater applications.  Is this rod up to handling these fish?  Thinking a 5.6 or 6 at most for leverage, but at the same time, like a rod that helps fight the fish (versus fighting the fisherman).  Plan to use fighting belt.  Also, recommendations for reel, maybe 2 stage reel as well that will pair well with this rod.  Plan to use 80 lb braid.  Bait and/or jigging.  Appreciate feedback soonest.  Thanks

This rod is going to hold up this absolutely I might even suggest moving down to a Heavy power rod, if you don't mind going over the 6ft length and also depending on the size of the fish and the lures. These rods are very strong and I would recommend the Penn FTH30LD2 Lever Drag 2-Speed Reel. This combo will be able to handle all of those fish easily and the reel holds 455 yds of 80lb braid plenty for what you want to do.
