Be prepared to untangle

Very disappointed with these baits. I was on the lake yesturday and anytime I did not cast just right the front hook would catch on the bill/line. One out of 5 casts would end up with a fouled retrieve. I dont have the same issue with other squarebill, their front hook is far enough back that it wont snag on the bill and rarely on the line.

South Jersey is full of small ponds and lakes loaded with bluegill and this bait is a killer. I also purchased this bait in the neon bluegill pattern and I’m glad I did.

Ive only got to use it on one trip so far but what I did use it I caught fish. I really like the color seeing I do a lot of fishing at night. The black and blue is great for night fishing.
