With all the many top water lures out there, the chug bug has still been consistent in catching fish. The chug bug was actually my first top water lure (hearing the old song commercial), and the bass just loved it. Rattles are not super loud nor are they super low either. A lot of splash and great design.

Great little popper .Can swim it with a little spit or really chug it for a very large splash and all inbetween

- Small hooks. Change them out for stripers and snook

Hi Heath, The Storm Rattlin Chug Bug Lure comes with #4 size treble hooks. The Gamakatsu G-Finesse Aaron Martens are a good replacement for the stock hooks ( https://www.tackledirect.com/gamakatsu-g-finesse-aaron-martens-tgw-treble-hook.html ).
