Built by hand with premium materials and components, the St. Croix Victory Bass Spinning Rods are a tournament caliber series designed to help solidify your spot on the podium. The Victory Series is a fully comprehensive lineup of technique-specific rods to help dial in tournament level performance with your favorite bass fishing tactics. Built on St. Croix's new SCIII+ blanks, these rods offer superior strength and lifting power and significantly reduced blank weight. This new SCIII+ material is a high-modulus hybrid carbon fiber that combines properties of St. Croix's SCIII and SCVI carbon blank material. This combination of materials allows for a rod action that is truly customized for the rod's intended application. These expertly balanced blanks are fitted with quality componentry such as ultra-durable Fuji Concept "O" guides with deep press inserts for superior performance with monofilament, fluorocarbon, or braided lines. Spinning models are equipped Fuji VSS reel seats along with a Fuji KDPS reel seat nut with a thread covering hood. Rounding out the design is a set of split-grip handles fashioned from high quality cork for a comfortable grip and classic appearance. All Victory Bass Rods are handcrafted in Park Falls, Wisconsin to ensure they meet the standard of quality that anglers have to come to expect from St. Croix Rods.

The backbone of this rod is stiff enough that smaller fish are brought to surface and skip as they are reeled in, which I find kind of comical. As this rod is meant to be used for bass, it should provide the power needed to pull them out of any area.

- Good Customer Service
- 1. Doesn't load as well as Shimano SLX
- 2. Not as sensitive as an Expride
- 3. Loses fish if fished from a Kayak
- 4. St. Croix Exchange policy, only credits $100 toward upgrade
- Light, crisp, looks great, sensitive
I use it primarily for bank fishing for Largemouth Bass in ponds and lakes.
I feel every bite. Hooks sets are more sure. And I can throw an unweighted 5” Senko a mile. Makes it easier to sneak up on a seasoned Largemouth.
I was looking at adding a St. Croix Premier when a salesman at a local store told me the Victory line had been released.
I did online research and saw quickly that with these rods you’re getting high dollar value for much less.
The initial run was practically sold out, so when I saw TackleDirect had one I placed the order.
Love it!!
