- Quality hook and hair
- Pricey
side note, do not leave your gulp on it, they dry out and you cant take them off after.
i actually managed to bend the hook on one.
- versatile jig
All in all, I have 0 worries that this hook will bend out even on a monster bass. The fall rate will be slower from the dense hair. Happy with the bucktail, but the price is on the high side. A $5-6 bucktail will do the same job, but with a less sturdy hook.
I think a fair price for this will be between $7.00-9.00 (1oz to 3oz). This is the reason I knocked a star off.
- STRONG hook

- Super strong

- - super strong and sharp hook
- - extra hair tied more securely to slow the sink rate and keep it off the bottom
- - super reinforced eyelet placed slightly more toward the nose which makes it ideal for surf fishing
- - fair price
- - perfect for fishing the surf for striped bass
- Would be nice if it came in more than two colors (preferably bunker, regular chartreuse, sand eel, or yellow) and had some heavier weights for those that may also wish to use a reinforced bucktail jig for boat fishing
