- Shimano TC4 Construction
Shimano has engineered the new responsive TC4 Construction material to elevate your fishing experience. The TC4 Construction material wraps a double inner layer of advanced, dynamic T Glass with an inner and outer spiral of high modulus graphite. This breakthrough in design construction results in an extremely durable, crisp, yet lightweight rod. - Fuji Concept Alconite Guides
A very strong and durable material, Alconite is the latest in a long line of ceramic rings developed by Fuji. Alconite is so durable it can be made thinner than any other ring, so strong it will hold up to all kinds of fishing demands. Alconite has an 80% greater compression strength and is 20% lighter than aluminum oxide, making it one of the toughest rings used for fishing, as well as one of the lightest. - Fuji Hardloy Guides
The Hardloy guide is Fuji’s most popular guide and is produced from a special blend of high grade aluminum oxide. All Hardloy guides are diamond polished for decreased line wear and permanently mounted to the frame. This results in increased performance, corrosion resistance and greater heat dissipation. - Fuji Reel Seat
Built to last Fuji reel seats are designed with graphite nylon bodies, exclusive S-4 Stainless Steel hoods, with lined cushioned inserts to offer a lightweight reel seat with superior strength. Uniform design for increased comfort and self aligned hoods provide a solid lockdown on your reel foot that will never back off while fishing.
la utilizo para jigs pesados con un twin power 5000
y para paseantes con un saltiga 10000.
(without a doubt my favorite rod for tuna
I use it for heavy jigs with a twin power 5000
and for walkers with a saltiga 10000.)

- eyes are on the light side. Not an issue on a boat but can get banged up in the hatch of a kayak
It's still quite sensitive and light, but isn't great for light jigs. It handled blackfin tuna, large cudas, and medium AJ's no problem. I did still get smoked a few times though but not because of the rod!
A dedicated jigging rod is so much nicer than trying to make due with a regular rod. The performance of the Trevalas for the price is unbelievable.
thanks
Trevala 66 MH spinning rod??  If not any suggestions?
SHIMANO Baitrunner 6000 OC reel.Â
Which one would recommend?
The Shimano Trevala spinning rod TVS66M would be better for jigging for Stripers. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.Â
For Togging with a jig, the recommendation would be the Shimano Trevala Jigging rod TVS70ML. This rod will be good for the 1-3oz jigs, but if you have to go up to 5 or 6oz jigs you will be able to handle them as well. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Only advantage the Fin-Or reel gives you is increased spool capacity
Hope everyone is safe snd well!
I have 2 Daiwa BG SWs- 2500 with 15lb J-Braid, and a 4000 with 30lb J-Braid.
I would like to use them for vertical jigging with smaller, slow-pitch jigs, as well as live bait . Which re-evaluate rods should I get for those reels? Thanks! Carlos
For the 2500 reels i would recommend a 6'3 or 6'6 Light or ML rated rod, and for the 4000 i would recommend a Medium or MH rated
I would go withÂ
SHM-1852
