You can tell allot work and high tech went into these rods. Would be hard to find someone to make a custom stick this nice. The 8 Guides are small but strong and tight to the rod with a smaller Winthrop roller tip. Which makes the rod super sensitive. Pairing with a Winthrop T-10X. Lookin forward to dropping some weights, that’s when the test really starts. Going to be close to 8’ once the butt is on it.

The Shimano Terez BW Swordfish rod (blade only) means that it does not come with a butt section. This allow you to match the blade with any butt of the correct size from any manufacturer - i.e. Aftco, Winthrop, Stuart, and Pac-Bay, to name a few.
