Built with Southeastern anglers in mind, the Shimano Talavera Bluewater Slick Butt Conventional Rods offer technique specific performance at a price that all offshore anglers can appreciate. Tailor made for light line-trolling applications like sailfish and kingfish, this series is built on blanks with ideal lengths and tapers for pulling circle hook rigs on light monofilament lines at low drag settings. These rods feature a slick butt handle for quick and easy removal from rod holders and are fitted with an aluminum gimbal that securely locks into rod holders and fighting belts. Equipped with durable Fuji Aluminum Oxide guides, these rods can be effectively fished with both monofilament and braided lines.
