Designed to produce explosive surface strikes from the hardest hitting saltwater game fish, the Shimano Coltsniper Splash Walk combines an enticing walk-the-dog action with top quality rugged construction. These heavy duty topwater lures feature a side-to-side darting action that's easy to produce with twitches of the rod tip. This fleeing baitfish action coupled with its low-pitch internal knocker is the perfect combination of visual and audible stimulation to drive predators absolutely mad. The Coltsniper Splash Walk is uniquely engineered to have a heavily weighted tail section, allowing the lure to sit vertically in the water on the pause. This innovative design increases hookup ratios and lessens the chance of a large fish missing the bait and knocking the plug out of the water during aggressive strikes. The Coltsniper Splash Walk also incorporates Shimano's through-wire construction for added durability during tough fights with big fish and a Kyorin finish to give the lure a lifelike appearance.

Shimano has always produced quality gear, and the lures live up to the name. Love the weight transfer system in the coltsniper series that allows you to really reach out and touch those big fish lurking usually just out of reach of other lures.

Nice Lure for Big Fish
May 21, 2021
I have no chance to use it however, it ia a high quality lure without a question. Well-balanced, long and heavy for long throw away, quality life-like finish are some of the first things come to my mind. Very optimistic about actual performance
Pros
  • quality finish, long casting, good for big fish
Cons
  • none
