The 4 1/2'' and 6'' SeaSucker vacuum cups are rated to hold 120 and 210 pounds respectively. Two slotted holes for back-plating accessories or mounting hardware and one center stainless steel insert for mounting anything with a standard 1/4-20 machine screw. All metal parts are high grade stainless steel, even the springs inside the pump, for extra durability in the saltwater environment.

The 6'' SeaSucker comes with an orange cap to protect the vacuum cup when not in use.

Easy Mounting System

I used two of these to mount lights to the side of the hull temporarily for bully netting in the keys. 1/4-20 bolts fit through the slots as well as the threaded mount.

Not the best solution

Was hoping to avoid drilling into my boat to mount my removable dive ladder. Used two four inch mounts. Initially worked and held ladder on the transom for one day. Returned to the dock only to find my diveladder floating next to the boat as the suction cups detached. Temperature dropped significantly overnight which caused the release. Cannot afford this type of failure. Products are being returned and I will be drilling to hard mount the ladder brackets. Same problem, on the same day, with the rod holders in the cabin when I found them laying on the bunks.

In your opinion will two of the 6" vacuum mounts hold four 80cuft scuba tanks? I would like to attach them to the East Coast Plastics aluminum rail with the swing down adjustable brackets. Thanks, Hobbes
1 Answer
Yes. You're looking at 150lbs max for the tanks.

How do you get this mount to release?
1 Answer
There is a small finger hold right under the "pump". Just pull up on it to release the suction.
