Easy Mounting System

I used two of these to mount lights to the side of the hull temporarily for bully netting in the keys. 1/4-20 bolts fit through the slots as well as the threaded mount.

Not the best solution

Was hoping to avoid drilling into my boat to mount my removable dive ladder. Used two four inch mounts. Initially worked and held ladder on the transom for one day. Returned to the dock only to find my diveladder floating next to the boat as the suction cups detached. Temperature dropped significantly overnight which caused the release. Cannot afford this type of failure. Products are being returned and I will be drilling to hard mount the ladder brackets. Same problem, on the same day, with the rod holders in the cabin when I found them laying on the bunks.
