For the price this spinning reel is tough to beat. This is by far one of the smoothest reels I own and can handle much more than it is rated for.

Has a fast retrieve and with the beveled spool, seems to cast as well as the Shimano CI4's I have. Drag seems flawless too. Has all the features I like at a great price. Fished 2 summers so far and this reel hasn't disappointed me. It's lightweight, fast and looks good too. One of the best values out there in my opinion.

After comparing this reel to cheap Chinese knock offs it is a piece for piece build of low quality reels you can purchase for 29.99.

13 claimed a corrosion resistant drive train and stainless steel bearings, and yet at 5mo with regular service all 3 bearings are nearly seized by rust after sitting for short periods

  • Build and component material quality is subpar
  • Based off a much cheaper, mass order Chinese reel

Does it matter if you are left or right handed?

Doesn't matter, the handle on the creed gt is switchable from left hand retrieve to right hand retrieve.
