For the price this spinning reel is tough to beat. This is by far one of the smoothest reels I own and can handle much more than it is rated for.

Has a fast retrieve and with the beveled spool, seems to cast as well as the Shimano CI4's I have. Drag seems flawless too. Has all the features I like at a great price. Fished 2 summers so far and this reel hasn't disappointed me. It's lightweight, fast and looks good too. One of the best values out there in my opinion.

After comparing this reel to cheap Chinese knock offs it is a piece for piece build of low quality reels you can purchase for 29.99.

13 claimed a corrosion resistant drive train and stainless steel bearings, and yet at 5mo with regular service all 3 bearings are nearly seized by rust after sitting for short periods

  • Would be good in 1000, or 2000 for freshwater use only

  • Build and component material quality is subpar
  • Based off a much cheaper, mass order Chinese reel

how much 20# braid can i fit on the 4000 model

The line capacity ratings on these reels are in reference to mono. Most 20 lb. braids are equivalent diameter to 6 lb. test mono. I would suggest purchasing a 300 yd spool of braid and using mono backing to fill the reel. We would be happy to spool it this way for you before your order ships out.

The ONE 3 Creed GT Spinning Reels can be used in saltwater if cleaned and maintained properly and not used primarily as a saltwater reel.
