I like my tica tc3 9ft 2-6oz better. It has better finesse even though it's shorter and rated the same. The tip of the rockaway is too thick to jig with if you want slight finesse. The tc3 is also much lighter

- the section that connects both rods together is not very stable (it popped off one time) and the top piece turned a little when casting. also the top piece is longer than the bottom piece making it harder to transport.
