This rod is a work of art! It has a great feel and balances well with my Penn SSVI 4500. I appreciate TackleDirect it was very fast I received the rod on time from the day of purchase, their customer service was excellent as I had a few issues which were eventually corrected and they showed their confidence, which is a game changer. I will be doing much more business with TackleDirect altogether in the future. They also know how to ship the fishing rods...they pack them in very secure containers...

I didn't use yet but it seems great fishing rod i definitely highly recommended. I have also Salt - X both fishing are great.

Since buying the rod (9'), I have nothing but good experiences with the rod. Light, sensitive and can cast anything over 1 oz a good distance. Light enough for porgy and fluke, yet strong enough to handle them blues and heavy plugs out in the surf.

After weeks of research I finally landed on the ODM NXD-104 D.N.A. Surf Rod 10’. After hearing many reviews it was one of the best rods for the pricing. Still carries most of the great qualities of the more expensive rods but at a better price for this older generation model. I liked the quality, build, and sensitivity. Tackle Direct had a good turn around on processing and shipped quickly.

I paired this rod with a VSX150. It has performed well! I foul hooked a 25-30 lb cow nose ray and it handled it with ease.

This rod has performed very well. The rod loads well at bot ends of the recommended weight range, it's light and strong . I paired it with VS VR175 . So far it's handled Striped bass up to 20lbs with no problem.

Casts like a broomstick

The rod is just so stiff. I’ve had 80 dollar basspro surf rods that load up better than this rod. It’s ok for like magic swimmers and danny plugs where you don’t need distance but for distance casting this isn’t the rod

The spinfisher would pair up well. Another couple options would be the Saragosa,slammer 3 and the Shimano Ultegra 5500 ci4+
