Megabass VISION 110 Jr. packs the tournament-winning characteristics of the immensely successful VISION 110 jerk bait into a 3.85in (98mm) frame, generating more action per inch than its larger sibling. The VISION 110 Jr. has been carefully benchmarked against the VISION 110, and has been redesigned to improve upon the dynamic actions of the original 110. The 110 Jr. exhibits wide, erratic darts, and also demonstrates high pitch rolling and flashing during slow retrieves, and wobble and roll agitation during fast retrieves. Finally, the dual-tungsten weights of the Megabass Multi way Moving Balancer System (PAT.) allow for incredible flight distance despite the lure's small size.

Update

Okay. Have been using this bait throughout the Spring and, I am just as happy with it as in my previous review. As for the hook bending issue, the size 8 hooks are not available for sale. Megabass America sent me FREE extra hooks after I wrote to them! Sent me several even though I told them only 1 bent. That's good customer relations! As for the slow rise, warmer water slowed that. I tried Suspen Strips but, I think it limited the baits action. I purchased a second 110 Junior in Pro Blue as my main lake for these is gin clear. It works just as well as my Sexy Shad! I'm not sure I'll ever use another jerkbait. Worth the money, especially if you have an open water, minimal structure lake/pond.
Pros
  • Cast a mile, even through wind.
  • Great action with minimal jerking imparted
  • Great finish and several color options
  • Super sharp/sticky hooks
Cons
  • Size 8 exact replacement hooks not available for sale. Changing to different hooks affects suspending.

Catches fish!
February 3, 2020
Purchased the Megabass Vision 110 Jr. and couldn't be happier. Chose the junior due to forage size in the Winter in the Northeast. First, this thing casts a mile even though only being 3/8 ounce! As a bank fisherman fishing in the Winter, distance is important as the fish are out in the depths of the middle of the lake. Second, you do not have to work this bait hard as it has tons of action even with small jerks. Important in the Winter when bass don't expect big twitches to the bait fish. Third, the finish is second to none as is the action. It rolls, darts and walks back and forth. Now the reasons for only 4 stars. First, the bait rises slowly. I want more of a suspending bait right out of the box, especially at $20 a clip. Water temperature has to do with rise but, wish my 40 degree water didn't make this bait rise. Second, although the hooks are the sharpest and stickiest you'll find (they stick to everything including skin, clothes, fishing bags, car seats....) they do tend to bend a little easy. Just today I had one bend taking it off of the hook keeper! I've caught 5 pound bass and haven't bent one but, getting untwisted from my hook keeper did. Go figure. Great lure, great size and action and worth every penny of $20! Get one. My fav, and only one so far is the "Megabass Sexy Shad."
Pros
  • Action, sharpest hooks, casting distance, small twitches are all that's needed to work the bait, color selection.
Cons
  • Light wire hooks could bend out. Bait rises semi slowly. Not a really slow or really fast rise. Changing to larger hooks makes bait sink.
