The Megabass Bottle Shrimp aims to imitate one of the most abundant freshwater forages found worldwide, the crawfish. The Bottle Shrimp does a fantastic job in doing so with both a tantalizing action and a lifelike flavoring. When fished on a Texas rig or as a jig trailer, the large front appendages will sway through the water on the fall. Once contact with the bottom has been made, the inertia of the weighted arms will cause a shivering action that runs to the base and causes the smaller side-appendages to twitch, captivating predators and triggering strikes. These baits are equally as effective when fished weightless, nail weighted, or on a Carolina rig.

The Bottle Shrimp is infused with an original blend of natural organic flavor powders and salt derived from baitfish and shellfish such as shrimp and crab. This scent formulation has been painstakingly field tested by the pros at Megabass, leading them to a formula that is proven to trigger bites in the toughest conditions.

This lure is great. Personally, I like to throw it as a weighted Texas rig during pre-spawn conditions. Drives them nuts.

I'm really impressed with the bottle shrimp. It looks so real that my wife won't touch it. Lol. Personally, I like it rigged with a shakey head and then drag across the bottom, but there are lots of rigging options.
Pros
  • Great action, lifelike presentation, limitless rigging, mega bass quality
Cons
  • Most colors tend to be sold out
