Setting a new standard for quality in hollow bodied frogs, the Megabass Big Gabot Frog utilizes an innovative design to provide top tier performance in typical Megabass fashion. The Big Gabot's patented Catamaran Mouth design allows the frog to simultaneously exhibit characteristics of both a walking and popping frog. With a twitch of the rod tip, the cup-shaped mouth bites into the surface and spits water forward while pivoting sharply for a splash-walking action with minimal travel of the frog. This allows anglers to concentrate on working the frog in key pockets of open water between pads and other surface cover. The body is made from a specially formulated material to achieve the optimal balance between structural integrity and compression, allowing for proper action while being soft enough to easily expose the hook points for high hook-up ratios. The Big Gabot is built around a custom frog hook where hook bend, angle, and wire diameter are optimized for both hook-up ratio and strength for pulling giant bass out of thick cover on heavy braided lines. Completed with hand-tied skirt legs and a silicone seal to limit water intake, the Big Gabot is set to have a permanent place in the arsenal of frog fishing enthusiasts across the country.
