Sure, they are soft and will tear after a fish or two, but the softness is what allows them to have great action. I don't mind destroying soft plastics if I'm catching lots of fish. I've fished them with a small jig head for smallmouth.

Works well for either drop-shot rig or as a jig. The colors and mild flash drive the fish crazy. If it has a tail and swims, you're going to catch it.
