The ima Skimmer Topwater Stickbaits are a zig-zagging topwater surface bait that specialize in creating lifelike surface feeding scenarios. The wild side to side action of the Skimmer is designed to leave ever widening boils behind the bait thanks to its weighted back end. As each darting action concludes, the bait slips away just barely ahead of the boil, similar to how baitfish narrowly escape the jaws of a surface feeding bass. If there’s ever anything that gets a non-committal bass to bite, it is other bass feeding in front of it. The action of the skimmer triggers a competitive feeding cue in finicky fish that may not be willing to bite. Fitted with Owner ST-36 treble hooks, The Skimmer Grande can be fished with confidence right out of the package.

Well built, great action topwater plug.
The first hook is about halfway back which creates less tangles with the line.
