I bought the tandem rig as another option to rig the 10" Hogy original. I have found the tandem rig style to work the best because the 2nd hook distributes the weight perfectly causing a slight " S " motion in the action. Ive caught several stripers in the mid 20's and the rig has held up great.
Pros
- Super easy
- Reliable
- Can be done with no additional tools.
Cons
- Maybe more of a suggestion than a con but I found a dab of super glue on the shanks of the hooks were needed to keep bait it place longer.

The quick rig makes rigging hogys unweighted fast and easy. The hooks are strong as well as the line and crimps. I would like the eye of the hooks to be larger so a clip would be easier to connect.
