My favorite reel by far. Drag is amazing and absolutely screems when the monsters take off. Use for shore fishing the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Michigan trolling for salmon. Super strong and has never lost its smoothness. Really enjoy it.

Depends on what your fishing for and how your fishing, I would look at the Shimano Terez Lineup, there are many different types of fishing techniques that those rods incorporate.

How many #'s of drag?

According to the manufacturer the 9500 size has a max drag of 60 lbs. It will hold 470 yards of 65# braid.
