Great reel for a great price. Long casting with a very smooth action you would only expect from a more expensive reel. I’ve always been a Shimano guy and still love them but these daiwa reels are making me a believer.

I've had this reel for almost a year now and have encountered no problems whatsoever. This thing casts a mile on 15# flouro, has great cranking power, and is very comfortable to palm. Overall a fantastic reel. The rubber handles are an added bonus that I love.

I received my reel the other day and spooled it with 20lb power pro braid and it casts great it pulls a 1/2 oz spinnerbait no problem. Shipping was fast very satisfied with this purchase I have a daiwa tatula I purchased last year and was amazed at its performance so I went ahead and bought another and I am a shimano guy always have been but they need to take some lessons from the daiwa folks.
