The Tatula CT is an extremely versatile, well rounded casting reel perfect for the overwhelming majority of popular bass fishing techniques like soft plastics, jigs, crankbaits, chatterbaits, and much more. Compact and comfortably palmable, The Tatula CT weighs in at a mere 7.2 ounces and pairs well with just about any bass rod on the market. Boasting the same T-Wing System level-wind as the other higher priced reels in the Tatula family, the CT specializes in long, precision casting by reducing resistance on the line as the spool dispenses line off the reel. By eliminating the friction of the line passing through the line guide, the T-Wing system means longer casts with fewer backlashes. Daiwa’s patented Magforce magnetic braking system makes braking adjustments easy with the use of an external dial, allowing you to adjust your braking on the fly to adapt to changes in lures or wind conditions.

These reels are solid, smooth and cast a mile. No other reel comes even close to these at this price point. The T-Wing technology was a game changer.

Great reel for a great price. Long casting with a very smooth action you would only expect from a more expensive reel. I’ve always been a Shimano guy and still love them but these daiwa reels are making me a believer.

I've had this reel for almost a year now and have encountered no problems whatsoever. This thing casts a mile on 15# flouro, has great cranking power, and is very comfortable to palm. Overall a fantastic reel. The rubber handles are an added bonus that I love.

I received my reel the other day and spooled it with 20lb power pro braid and it casts great it pulls a 1/2 oz spinnerbait no problem. Shipping was fast very satisfied with this purchase I have a daiwa tatula I purchased last year and was amazed at its performance so I went ahead and bought another and I am a shimano guy always have been but they need to take some lessons from the daiwa folks.
