I am using them with the daiwa saltiest fast reels. Very good for kite fishing. Cought a couple of sailfish no issues. Guides are good quality.

Would this rod pair well with the Daiwa Lexa 400? I was looking at spooling the reel with 65lb braid.

I think that the rod is a bit too heavy for that reel. As far as the braid goes, it might be a bit heavy for that reel as well.
