Amazing Rod
March 30, 2018
As soon a i felt this series rod i was in love. Was not sure on the MH or H but settled on heavy. Its light enough to use in the bay fluking or out in the deep for seabass. Was not sure on this of the Trevala S but settled on this due to the limited life time warranty. The guides are small but i have had no issue.

Ive been using this rod on my party boat trips. perfect for fluke, sea bass and porgies. The rod has a nice backbone and is sensitive enough that you feel the slightest of hits. I like the longer butt which allows you support the rod against your forearm allowing you to use one hand /arm
Pros
  • light and strong
Cons
  • could be a little longer than the 6'4"

I have the ss64h and had a blast catching sea bass off of block island with it. It handled everything very well, I even caught a few nice cod on the drift. I am very impressed with it
Pros
  • Very lite
Cons
  • You need to know how to tie very small knots
