The Beast Coast Miyagi Swimmer is the perfect swimbait for targeting bass of all sizes. These 5 inch swimbaits are big enough to attract massive bites from trophy size fish, but are bite-sized enough to be dined on by those 2-3 pound fish that keep things interesting. Attention to detail and superior craftsmanship help the Miyagi Swimmer stand out from other swimbaits in its size. Poured by hand to ensure superb quality control, the folks at Beast Coast Fishing use pedal-powered pots to control material flow in the handpour process, resulting in lifelike semi-translucent, curving color layers. This proprietary plastic is soft and buoyant for a natural tail kicking action and body wobble, yet will last for far more fish-catches than traditional hand-poured swimbaits. Realism is further enhanced with hand-epoxied 3D eyes. These swimbaits feel most at home when rigged on a keel-weighted swimbait hook, but will also produce big bites on the back of a swim jig or rigged on a jig head. The Miyagi Swimmer's body is molded with an extra-deep hook pocket that deepens near the back of the bait where a swimbait hook will penetrate for an optimal hookup ratio.

I love the Beast Coast jigs and wanted to give these a shot. These rigged on the right hooks swim awesome and are pretty durable. This is a great company that puts out quality stuff.

Really good mid-sized Swimbait

great Swimbait to throw in spring when the grass is coming up. Rig it on an owner hook size 5 or 6/0 with a keel weight and It has a really nice swimming motion even when retrieved really slowly.

Swims great, but not for my situation

I love the way it swam when I tested it in a pond, but I needed it for fishing for striper at the dam. The current makes it swim side-up which is a no go for me. I have other swim baits that do fine and also last longer. The durability at the tail wasn’t for me since I usually get bit by the occasional gar. Compared to other swim baits I use, it’s a no go for me. If your fishing in calmer water then it should be fine.

Bass love em

After throwing on some owner weighted hooks on this thing swims beautifully. I wish it was easier to keep lower in the water but adding weight should help with that. These are soft but I was able to catch multiple bass off of the same one. Snapping turtles also love them, but nothing holds up against them.
