I grew up on the east coast fishing for stripers, blues and Blue Fin. I love the star drag from these guys because I feel it work better for me on the smaller fish that I now fish fo run Northern California. I am fishing 2 star drags and 2 of their traditional lever drags for met salmon set up this year. stand by for report!

what is the line capacty 20lb mono?

Depends on the mono and how tight its spooled on, but should be around 300yds of 20lb mono for the MXL.
