When I don't have eels, it's a nice big bait. I also am move aggressive with casting and jigging as I worry i'm going to prematurely kill the live eel if I don't just swim although fishing with a dead eel can work to.

Gags eel has great action with nice matching jig head. Penetrate water well to get down deep. Tails are somewhat thin with fast taper from body, so can be bitten off easier then other soft plastics, but that is probably why action is so good.

Purchased the kit, and wanted a few spares for the jig head. These are very nice, soft and flexible. Hopefully the blues don't tear them up, but they are nice and they work for me.
