are these reels saltwater reels? Do they have sealed bearings?

Hi Ed, The Abu Garcia Ambassadeur STX is not a saltwater rated reel and do not have sealed bearings to handle saltwater. We recommend looking at the Lew's Speed Cast Reel which have better sealing on the bearings. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with!

What is the difference between the sx and the stx apart from color?
