Trolling on a longline off the center - I lose more of these than any other lure - which is both a good and bad thing! I typically run then on 80 lb mono with a 5/0 circle hook (unusually just green and yellow) and nothing gets hit more often - or bitten off more often!

While I hate losing them, at least I know they attract fish! I have tried using wire at the connect point (but it does get hit less often because I fish in very clear waters) I have just decided to keep rolling the dice and ordered a bunch to keep them handy.

Have NOT used the pink skirted ones yet - but at least I know the standard yellow and green work so I have faith these will too.
