Just OK.

Bought this for my son and he had a little trouble reeling in fish. I tried it myself and the reel was kind of tough to reel... it was jerky. Seemed to get a little better the more we used it. The rod was fine.

I wish i had a dollar for every fish I caught as a kid on a zebco, even in salt water lolThose zebco combos are fun. My grandfather bought me my first one many many years ago and with little Tlc it is just as smooth today. There's a 202 traveling around the world and it has caught just about everything so far. type into google Reel Around The World! Zebco 202 Challenge!

I got one of these the other day and practice casted with it with no issues at all.I remember when these came out years ago always wanted one.I never got around to it didnt fish much now Im back at it after 25 years.I finally got a Rhino good quality rod and reel very smooth reelling and casting had no problems with it.I always test out my new rods and reels before using so I dont have issues when I get to the lake.These rods are very durable says on rod and info indistructable ,I have always used Zebco without any issues.I also have the little dock demon and its good for what it is.
