Walmart 10.00 great rod and reel for the money .H as everything that has been thrown at it.

- cast's great reel's smoothly

- Remove line it comes with and put on fresh,I would say no bigger tha 6lb. I put on 4lb. and this thing works awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great little rod

I really like this rod. both my 5 year old son and I use this rod for fishing off of the ocean piers. Have caught some decent mackerel with it.
Pros
- Tough and easy to use. Virtually indestructible.
Cons
- spin cast reel sometimes not to smooth on cast.
