The ZMan lures are fast and easy to rig on these jigheads. Also, the weight is clearly marked on the jighead, which is nice. Quality product.

These hooks work perfect for making jigs for mahi. What I generally do is put a 5 inch squid skirt and put it on top. Makes a perfect lure. Hooks are also super strong.

How well would the 1-1/2oz and 2oz sizes fit on a 5" zman paddlerz? Would it be too big to let the tail move freely?

Hi Zach, A 5" Zman Paddler Z would fit best with a 6/0 size hook 1oz Z-Man TT Lures HeadlockZ HD jighead. The smaller hook would match best with a 5" bait best as to not effect the action of the lure. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
