This bait swims well and has good action.

Z man products are so good with both action and unmatched durability. I love the profile of the PogyZ, whether it mimics the panfish LM are feeding on or the bunker Stripers are chasing. My go-to paddle tails are MinnowZ and Diezel MinnowZ, the PogyZ have a totally different profile so it's great to have them in the arsenal. I'm hoping Z Man issues more sizes in this line, it would be great to see a 4"-6" PogyZ bait.

Like all Zman lure this bait is extremely durable and has great action. What sets this bait apart is the profile of this bait which is unlike any other Zman swimbait. I like how this bait is a little taller which is great for imitating small bunker and pilchards. I bring this bait pretty much every time I do some inshore fishing whether its in NJ or FL. I also like these lures for freshwater because the taller body resembles bluegill.

It’s really durable, the tail kicks like a little champ, and it’s scented. This is one of my go tos for the chesapeake with the exception of the diezel minnows

I fish pogy and shad imitations alot inshore on the central Florida Gulf Coast, and use these Zman pogy's much of the time. I like the way their bouyancy gives them a super slow fall on a 1/16 oz jig, giving them more time in the strike zone. It also makes them easier to swim over grass fairly slowly compared to other pogy's. I also often rig them weedless on a 3/0 twist lock, 1/8oz worm hook. My favorite thing with these is to let them hit bottom along a pothole edge on a stand-up jig head. The bouyant elaztech material causes the tail to stick up so I can work it like a Ned rig, just very small bounces and inching it along the bottom. Very effective. Also, with the cost of soft plastics these days, I love how durable zman baits are.
