Z man products are so tough, so that's always going to come with the brand. I've had good success catching LM and Striped Bass with these, my only complaint would be they sometimes don't stay on top (even rigged weightless). Overall though, a great option for a popper if you're throwing into cover/structure.

This is a very cool lure and one of the only of its kind. This lure has great action, but only when it is rigged correctly. They are very difficult to rig and I have tried a few different ways to rig them. I think that the best way to rig them is to use a weightless swimbait hook. When they are rigged properly the action is great and they are great for redfish in very shallow water and for bass in lily pads.

I can fish this bait in nasty snags that would just "eat" a traditional popper with treble hooks. It throws a lot of water for a softbait, and draws fish from faraway!
