Use this on a 1/2 oz or 3/4oz spro bucktail and hold on for that thump. Excellent durability and great action on the tail. Have caught countless numbers of fluke on one bait with no issues. Last longer than any other swim baits hands down.

these are by far my go-to paddle tail! they will catch anything that swims. the action is great and the durability is incredible. I've caught Cuda and Blues on these and they keep lasting. If you fish for toothy species and don't like going through bags and bags of plastics, get these.

Nothing short of amazing plus so much more! Action is awesome with the paddle tail. Super durable, can be used multiple trips and keeps its same texture and feel. This can be fished multiple ways, without disappointment. I have caught lots of spotted trout, redfish, and a couple of Spanish Mackeral. Even trash fish like catfish remora etc have been reeled in with the Z Man Slam Shady. This is all I will throw now for artificial. Thank you so much!

These work super well when they are rigged properly. Make sure the hook comes out exactly in the center and it will trail perfectly. Highly recommend

They catch fish. That's all there is to it. I buy the slam shady color and one other for different conditions. You can't really go wrong with any of them. Pick a couple colors you like that catch fish and repeat.

Slam Shady Good all-Around Plastic Bait - Pattern

The color mimics so many foods that predator game fish (saltwater and fresh) eat, it is a good "pattern" to have on hand. I've had success with it for white bass, large mouths, as well as speckled trout. Durable? absolutely. The Slam Shady first came to my attention on the Salt Strong website - they have multiple reviews and video footage of the effectiveness of this bait. Yes - you should buy a package. Reason for 4/5 stars: The Slam Shady (Z-Man/ ElaZtech) won't catch fish on every cast. (Still looking for that bait.)
