Yo-Zuri HD Fluorocarbon is a brand new fluorocarbon leader that maximizes the advantages of fluorocarbon and a Disappearing Pink tint. Fluorocarbon is virtually invisible in the water and red is the first color to disappear in the water column. Pink is the lightest shade of red and as a result disappears the quickest.
Fluorocarbon is also only invisible until it gets nicked or scraped up. If this happens, that section of the leader actually lights up from the sunlight. The color pink added to the line helps reduce this problem keeping an anglers invisibility intact. Ultimately the combination of fluorocarbon and the color pink will double your invisibility advantage and increase your chance for hookups!

Exellent Flurocarbon Leader

I have purchased and used the Yo-Zuri HD Flurocarbon leader in 30lb and 40lb ratings and while i cant attest to its invisibility in water it is very supple which makes it easy to tie good strong knots in. Not all flurocarbon leader material is this easy to handle as I have used other brands that were so stiff that it was like trying to tie knots in wire.
It also seems to be very abrasion resistant compared to nylon leader material. I check the condition of my leaders after every trip by running the line slowly through my fingers feeling for any roughness and this leader material holds up longer than the nylon leaders I used to use. It is a little more expensive than some of the other brands available but like all the Yo-Zuri products available, none are less than premium quality.
It also seems to be very abrasion resistant compared to nylon leader material. Started switching over from Seaguar to this stuff since it’s just as good. One thing that is really nice is how small the spool of this line is. More line than the 25yd spools of other brands but way smaller package, makes it super easy to throw in your back pocket.

I’ve been using Yo-Zuri fluoro for several years. It is easy to tie, doesn’t slip, and is abrasion resistant.

Great Leader Material for Snelling Hooks

I bought this flouro for snelling Mustad circle hooks and attaching barrel swivels. I found it easier to work with than mono leader of half the weight.
Pros
- Supple, yet strong leader material. I like the disappearing pink which becomes invisible at depth, camouflaging the leader. Many regard this product as best in class. I tend to agree.
Cons
- $$$Expensive.... but all flouro is.

#130lb has a diameter of 1.087mm I cant find a double barrel black copper crimp that fits snuggly
I tried diamond 1.3mm and it is loose in fact lost two fish on crimp failure
Diamond 1.0 mm does not fit at all

The 130# Fluorocarbon leader should be able to be crimped correctly using Hi-Seas Mini Double Barrel Sleeves MDS-BK-C (HIS-0204). If there is any issue with the crimp holding it might be your crimper. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
