I just bought my third Yeti. It is such a worth wild investment. I just upgraded my boat with a yeti 35qt and a 50gt with the stainless strap down set. The price of the strap set retail is so incredibly reasonable. It is high quality straps and metal. I use them in the front and back of my 17' center console. It fits perfect. I ripped out my old bench seat and installed a 50qt. The 35qt went in the front. When I need more room I just remove the stainless steel straps and i can take the coolers off. It's AWESOME! I have such easy access to my console battery and oil tank now. The metal cleat for the straps are so flat, I don't trip or stub my toes at all when the coolers are installed and even when I take the coolers off the boat. The straps stay within the handel cavity and don't stick out. I have so much more room in my boat. The shape of the cooler makes a big difference for deck space. They are nice and tall for extra inside space and are very comfortable to use as a seat. I am 180lbs, 6'2". I can stand up and get a better view and use the coolers as casting platforms. I'll never have to replace these coolers for the rest of my life and could probably pass them down to my son.
