YETI Roadie Coolers are built to take the rugged abuse that comes with the way we work and play. Unlike ordinary coolers, which are essentially “disposable”, a YETI is made to last! Keeping things cold is what a cooler is all about. With thicker walls, more than twice the insulation and a full-frame gasket, YETI Coolers outperform the competition – it’s not even close!

Features of the Roadie River Green:
  • One-piece, extremely rugged roto-molded polyethylene construction
  • Constructed of food-grade material that is dry ice compatible and UV resistant
  • Two inches of polyurethane foam for superior insulation
  • Freezer-style sealing gasket locks in cold
  • Durable fail-safe T-latch keepers which are molded into the carcass
  • Full length, self deterring hinge which cannot hyperextend causing breakage
  • Padlock holes molded into both the cooler and lid
  • Non-slip feet so to maintain stability
  • Full-length stainless steel handle

No mess, impact resistant YETI ICE packs (sold separately) will keep your YETI chilled!

From earlier reviews i have changed my stance on Yeti, Yeti overcharges.

Pelican coolers are by far and large better than Yetti coolers.Pelican coolers will hold ice for up to 9 days! and are certified to literally be bear proof...and that is not a joke joke, grizzly bear proof ! On top of it they have a lifetime warranty on them. They have built in cup holders, bottle opener, locking ez open latches, a very nice drain on the side that a garden hose could be attached to, and 2 built in rulers for your fish on the top, and a stainless steel padlock holes for keeping people out. On top of all these other features, every single part that could go wrong by something you have done is $9.95. EVERY ONE! The worst part is the same 70qt from Yeti with not even half the features is $100 more than the Pelican. Yeti also lies to you about the actual quart size that they advertise on their coolers, if you buy a yeti 45 you are getting somewhere around 36. That 45 is not a quart size, but simply a model number. With the Pelicans you actually get the qt size you pay for.

Cons
  • Pelicans are Much better coolers than any of the competition with more features, and more sturdy by far for less money.Yeti overcharges

....Built like a Tank and just as heavy!!
May 8, 2016
...If you have the habit of throwing your cooler in the back of your pick up with the tail gateup...?...this cooler is for you... IF you can throw it when it full!! This is a heavy little cooler that is Blow Molded built. I disagree on the claims of the ice longevity if you open it 30 times on a 70 degree day. Nope ! Can't recommend for this price. Buy an igloo or coleman for the 1/3 rd of the price, slide it in the bed with the tailgate down and don't use them for ladders or in Bear country. Semper Fi! Godspeed!! I'm disappointed in the 50 quart too!! Not worth the money to keep ice, fish, food, fish if you plan on opening it. Great for a jack stand and step stool. Too pricey!! Semper Fi! Godspeed! The Blow Mold is heat conductive...the insulation is poor. You'll see that when you pull the 'Bear Claws' and replace with sliders. Semper Fi! Godspeed!!
Pros
  • ...built like a tank!!! Great step stool........
Cons
  • ........does not keep ice when opening many times...... Blow mold is heat conductive. Very expensive.
