If the bucket is being used to hold bait like mullet that may jump the lid keeps everything in which helps keep baits frisky and alive

You'll want it if you don't have it. We use the lid all the time to make the bucket a cooler, live well, seat, step, storage, etc. Just get the lid, your friends will be jealous of both.

Fits perfect. Goes on and comes off very easily. Can be used to seal water out or anything in. You can even use it as a livewell. They built in a vent plug to drop in the air hose. If your even remotely thinking of adding this to your Yeti bucket? Just order it.
