The first fully modular trolling lure system of its kind, the WolfPack Tackle Ahi Trolling Heads utilize truly innovative features to make it the best swimming offshore head on the market. All parts of these lures being completely interchangeable is what makes them so unique and so effective. It all starts with the perfectly keel weighted head that keeps the lure running in an upright position at all times. The keel weighted head is then covered by a soft silicone head cover. This head cover protects the head, the angler, and the boat from damage when fish are thrashing around on the deck. Also, because there is no paint, the color on the head will never chip or fade. With the eyes being silicone welded onto the head, they will never come off. The modular system also features an easily removable skirt. Simply remove the metal skirt collar to replace damaged hair, change colors, or to clean and store your skirts separately when done fishing. The Ahi Heads are designed to fish equally well with either ballyhoo or WolfPack Tackle's Ahi Tail. When fishing with ballyhoo, the unique ballyhoo stabilizer eliminates the need for a chin weight. Simply rig your ballyhoo and insert the bill into the stabilizer to keep the ballyhoo swimming upright. Stabilizers are included with the 3.5oz and 5.5oz Ahi Heads. 1 oz and 2 oz heads use an 8/0 hook, and 3.5 oz and 5.5 oz heads use a 9/0 hook.
