- The construction and the quality of the material used in this product is top notch, good wall thickness on the tubing used, all the hardware used is Stainless Steel, the nylon strapping used on the cart and for securing the cart under the kayak is just the right thickness and stiffness. The cart is held in the closed position by these rubber detents when not in use and you pull to open and the rubber detent hold it open. It has a leg you pull open so the cart stands up on its own. The wheels are also good quality material and assembly, brass valve stem for input of air (I didn't have to put air to the tiers) the hub & bushing on the wheels are held in place with four S/S screws, I have to guess it allows for replacement of bushings if needed. I wash everything when I get home to get the salt off and any grim that get on the tiers and they clean easily.
- I had to deburr the sharp edges of the holes on the axel because removing and putting on the wheels took too much of and effort for my liken. Not really a Cons just my preference... (I'm a mechanic... LOL)
- fat tires roll in sand well
