Awesome sandeel lure for stripers and blues in New Jersey. The lure has great action and it rigged perfectly to help with casting and action. I am excited to try these for bluefin when they are keyed in on sandeels this summer.

I've been a surf striper fisherman for decades and have many fav lures. I recently spotted the Sandy Andy tucked in the corner of a store display. I liked the realism of the lure so I bought the 2oz and 3/4 oz. RoboCod. On my third cast with the large lure I landed a 25" bass and lost another. Due to the outgoing tide I switched from the heavier Sandy Andy to the 3/4oz 5 1/2" Robocod and landed three more bass. On 12/18/19 while fishing from the surf in N.J. from 8:30am to 10;30AM I hooked up 22 short bass and landed 18 all taken with the smaller RobCod. Truly an amazing lure with true to life realism. I now own 8 of various colors.

- The larger SA when fishing from the surf is a "high tide" lure. It tends to dig into the bottom if there is low water. However it's great for fishing from jetties at most water levels. Also lure replacement bodies are not sold separately. The package comes with one pre-hooked SA and one replacement body .

- Got to glue the tail on to make it stay together for hard fishing. A drop of super glue does the trick.
