These work great for my skiff. The give me added with between rods. They lock in well to my rod holders and easily store away under my front deck. I would recommend these to anyone with small boat.

Not that impressed

Couple things wrong.
The lanyard carbiner clips are too large to attach to reels. They came with these big metal caribiners that are like 1/3" wide and heavy.
The stem which inserts in the rod holder is too skinny, causing the rigger to wobble around and appear loose in the rod holder.
The black rubber plastic around the opening falls off easily. Should be epoxied.
The section that holds the rod is a big narrow and it's tough to get the rod out easily.

Just what you need for headboats

Used these for NE canyon headboats so you dont have to hold your rod for 48hrs straight. Well worth the price to keep the line off the hull.

This rod rigger is well made and sturdy in my gunnel rod holders. I do a lot of trolling alone and with this rigger in the rod holder on either side of the console of my boat I can see in an instant if I have a strike without having to constantly look from side to side or to the rear of the boat.. It is at a perfect angle with the cutout it has and I don't have to worry about it or my rod being pulled overboard. It also helps to keep the bait out of the prop wash of the motor with it's design. I look forward to many years of use with this rod rigger.

Only downfall is that there is only one cut out for the gimbal but that's nothing a grinder can't fix in about 2 minutes. Other then that a great product
